Tonight I am going to share a fun book from Leisure Arts called Cool String Art by Lori Wenger. String art is a fun decoration and is fairly easy to make. You can see some of the string art we have made previously

Now I did not get around to making any of the ten projects in this book, but looking at the instructions, they are very clear. I love the variety of projects as well. There is a bit of something for everyone from a clock to a cactus. I see some trends that are in now like succulents, pineapples and more.

There is also something for different ages as well as different styles. I could see this Be Happy project in a tween or teen's room.

The projects are pretty amazing and of course the artist can chose the colors he or she likes. Some of the projects don't have as much string as the others. For example the flowers use the string art to give the petals and leaves texture without as much of the winding that is usually in string art.

Which is your favorite string art project? I love the different ideas. I hope you will check out this fun book and give the projects a try. Then be sure to come back and share them at a Crafty Weekends party so I can see!!
