Jesus Calling for Teens: 50 Devotions for Busy Days Review

Disclosure: We were sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

My life has been a bit busy lately. Has yours? I find May always is a bit busy. There is the rush after Easter and our April school vacation week because the end is near. The days and weekends seem full of birthday parties, confirmations, first communions, graduations, award ceremonies, the list goes on and on. Today I am sharing a book perfect for busy teens. It is Jesus Calling for Teens: 50 Devotions for Busy Days by Sarah Young.

Now I have had the pleasure of sharing some of Sarah Young's other Jesus Calling books with you. I have grown to love the messages written in Jesus' voice and so has Hazel. This book is another to add to our library of devotionals. I love how the messages are short and quick to read but relate to most teens (or tweens) lives. There are things about friends, school, parents and more. The issues that come up in every teen's life. Each reminds the reader of giving worries to Jesus or relying and thanking Jesus. Read in the morning and the message will start your day with a conversation with Jesus. What an amazing way to start your day!

With each devotion there is also a page with a colorful background and a scripture. So on those really busy days when a two minutes cannot be spared one can open to a random page and see a verse. The messages are strong and powerful and the focus is where I want Hazel's and my focus to be. If you are looking for a way to add Jesus to your teen's life each day, this book will do it. I hope you will check it out!
