Do you know Roz Chast's work? Perhaps you have seen her work in The New Yorker? Whether or not today I am sharing some new products featuring her work that make wonderful holiday gifts. I fell in love with the Roz Chast: Ad Infinitum 1,000 Piece Puzzle by Roz Chast.
About the Puzzle:
From acclaimed New Yorker cartoonist and author Roz Chast, Ad Infinitum 1,000-Piece Puzzle features an iconic full-color cartoon by the beloved illustrator.Roz Chast is a New Yorker cartoonist who has been making readers laugh for decades. Her Ad Infinitum puzzle is a hilariously and clever depiction of wall art—that seems to go on forever! It’s a perfect and witty gift for Chast fans and puzzlers alike.
From Me:
The picture reminds me a bit of the mysteriously never-ending work from M.C. Escher. As a math teacher I love works like this that make us think about infinity and things that never-ending. This is a puzzle I will bring to my class. My students love doing puzzles, and I love providing them a way to take a brain break from academics. I have honestly seen students about to lose it with class take a ten-minute puzzle break and come back ready to work. Puzzles like this one will be just the right amount of a challenge. It helps keep their brains focused on the visual skills in front of them and gives their brain a break from math or other anxiety. I love how puzzles help people of different ages in different ways.
This puzzle is high quality, and the pieces are on the small side. It is perfect for my classroom but also for puzzle lovers as well as art lovers. It makes me want to check out Roz Chast's work more as I am not a New Yorker reader. It makes a great gift for people who love puzzles as well as people that need a brain boost or to relax. Puzzles are coming back and have so many positives. You can learn more about them in this post. And you can check out the other puzzles we have shared here.
