MerryMakers Dolls--the Perfect Holiday Gifts for Little Ones

Disclosure: I was sent a doll in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Do you know the classic children's book, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats? We loved it when Hazel was young and planned days around it like this one outside and this one inside. I love that it is a multicultural children's book that is just about going out to play in the snow. It is relatable to any child who lives where it snows. Plus the character, Peter, dresses in his red snow gear and looks adorable. Well along comes MerryMakers! They make dolls and toys that go with many classic children's books including The Snowy Day

From MerryMakers:

Our doll is soft and warm, ideal for even the youngest child. Perfect to cuddle with and a great newborn gift, this is a doll that will be in your child’s life for many years to come.

In the classic book by Ezra Jack Keats, a young boy named Peter, dressed in his bright red snowsuit, wanders a landscape transformed by snow that's fallen overnight.

Peter's dachshund Willie from Whistle for Willie is also available!
Surface wash only
Safe for all ages

From Me:

First this adorable doll reminds me of our days in Waldorf school. He looks similar to the Waldorf star dolls for babies. This sweet doll looks just like Peter in the book. He is dressed in his red snowsuit with just his little face showing. The face is embroidered on which makes the doll perfect for any age including babies! The doll is a great quality and soft and cuddly. I know he will make young children very happy as does the book.

Now if you have a young person on your list consider gifting them the book and doll. You can actually order both from MerryMakers. For The Snowy Day doll can come with a board book of the Ezra Jack Keats book. Looking for some other story, well MerryMakers has a huge variety to choose from including dolls to go with some of the books we have shared in the past like Ladybug Girl, The Kissing Hand, The Day the Crayons Quit, The Wonderful Things You Will Be, Escargot, and Froggy! I love the fact that they have multicultural books as well as books not involving people. They even have some for slightly older kids like Captain Underpants and Dog Man. So this year when picking out something for them to read, consider also gifting them a character from the book that they can cuddle and/or read the story to! It will make the book that much better! Be sure to check my holiday gift recommendation list (you will find MerryMakers there)!
