From Me:

This book is a sweet story. I love that the firemen saw a dog in trouble and took him in. They saw he got along with them and decided to keep him.  They even bring him to fires as well as schools to talk about fire safety. In the book some fire safety is mentioned like checking fire detectors monthly, sleeping with doors closed and more. Do your kids know at home fire safety?

I love the story and the illustrations in this book. It is perfect for the younger kids who love dogs and fire stations. It also can start discussions on fire safety as well as taking care of pets and what is required.

Fire Safety

To go with this book, I wanted to share some resources for fire safety. Years ago, we shared a post with a book about fire safetyI also asked some fellow bloggers what they had on fire safety. Here are the ones that are free.
