Fracture Point - a Mommy Time Book Review

Disclosure: Jeff Altabef sent me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Today I am going to share an adult book with you. I fell in love with Jeff Altabef's books with his and his daughter's Chosen Series. I jumped at the chance to read his newest book Fracture Point

This book is the first in his Point Thriller series. The year is 2041 and the distance between the wealthy and everyone else is about as far as the Grand Canyon is apart. The wealthy managed to get the government to get rid of many of the checks that kept the society at least somewhat balanced. The ideas of this society rings with current things happening in our country. It is a bit of an eye opener in untypical place. It makes me a bit weary of current events and politicians.

I had trouble keeping track of some of the characters. There are several wealthy characters that blend together a bit for me. Like in many of Altabef's books the chapters jump between the various characters' storylines. It can make it more confusing and in the beginning it was a bit hard to get into it. However once I was in I couldn't put it down. It is a page turner with many mysteries to solve as to who is the enemy of the average person. There are many messages that can be construed from the various stories. There is a side story about drugs and steroids and of course the overall theme of greed and the need to take care of each other.

I have to admit I am wondering what will happen next in this story. It left me wondering and hoping for the good to win over the evil in the world. I hope you will take time to check out this fun book and come back and tell me if you see connections with our current society.
