Dogtown -- Book Review

Do you have pets? Do you adopt them from shelters? We have three shelter cats and a bunny we adopted from a friend. Today I get to share a beautiful book about dogs at a dog shelter. This book has so many different connections and themes. It is a must read for animal lovers! It is an illustrated middle grades novel. The book is Dogtown by Katherine Applegate and Gennifer Choldenko and illustrated by Wallace West. It is recommended for ages 8 to 12.

Today I get to share the latest book from Katherine Applegate! I have had the pleasure of reviewing a few of her books in the past. Today's book is an early chapter book. It is recommended for ages 6 to 9. The book is part of the Doggo and Pupper series. It is Doggo and Pupper Search for Cozy by Katherine Applegate and illustrated by Charlie Alder. 

Odder -- New Middel Grades Novel in Verse about Sea Otters

My life has gotten a bit crazy. My reading time is definitely cut down, but I found time to read today's book and loved it. We can start with the adorable picture on the cover. This book is a new middle grades novel written completely in verse. It is Odder by Katherine Applegate. It is recommended for ages 8 to 12.

Third Book in the Startup Squad

We have had the pleasure of sharing The Startup Squad series with you since it began. This fun multicultural middle grades novel series is about four friends who work together to start businesses. Each book is full of fun, mistakes, friendship, and entrepreneur ideas for kids. Today's is no exception. It is The Startup Squad: Party Problems by Brian Weisfeld and Nicole C. Kear.
