What brings you joy? I know crafting brings me joy as does nature. Today I get to share a beautiful new paper book about nature and I'm sharing a haiku with crafts from it! The book is Paper Book for Nature Lovers by the Editors of Flow Magazine. I've reviewed one of these paper books from Flow Magazine previously too.
From the creators of Flow magazine, the Paper Book for Nature Lovers is a stationery enthusiast’s dream, brimming from cover to cover with beautiful paper and Flow‘s signature goodies—all inspired by the natural world.Nature is full of patterns, colors, and shapes. The contents range from stationery to stickers, from invitations to postcards, from folding paper to folding envelopes, plus posters, wrapping paper, seed packet envelopes, a foldout floral garden, and a whole lot more. In short: a paper book by nature lovers, for nature lovers.

The papers in this book are beautiful!! The book is full of stationary, printed papers, wrapping paper, postcards, stickers and so much more! I love that this book has some crafts in it as well. The book is divided into three sections: Trees, Flowers and Plants. There are a few different crafts in the book like folding leaves and butterflies as well as a seascape craft to make a diorama in a jar.
This book is full of beautiful prints in colors that I love. There are the trees, flowers and plants but also birds, butterflies and more. The pages are fun and full of creativity and nature. I love how this book provides different types of paper in the same prints. Note paper, printed paper and wrapping paper have the same print or corresponding prints. Plus there are matching stickers.
I decided to try the leaves and butterflies. I tried my samples in different ways and on different pages. The leaves were too big for any of the flower prints but it was fun to add them to it.
Then I thought about my commitment to joy this year. I decided to write a joyful haiku about the leaves and butterflies. I put them on a piece of sketch paper and wrote my haiku on it.
I found this book inspiring. The prints are beautiful and the craft ideas fun. I love so many of the prints and may add the stickers to some of the pull-out pages for more fun. I may make some paper beads or find another fun craft to do with them. The papers are so beautiful!!
I love this book because it feels like spring. As we have had another snow fall around 8 inches today (on top of the two feet from last week), I am very much ready for spring! I also love bringing nature into my crafts as well as sending notes, etc. with nature. How do you add nature to your life in the winter?
