Colouring in Peace -- a Relaxing Friday Review

I have been planning on writing this Relaxing Friday review for a very long time and somehow my Fridays have not been very relaxing. I have to say that all of March thus far has been far from relaxing. So today I am taking the time to get this review done and share this wonderful coloring book with you.  The book is Colour in Peace: A Reflective Journey illustrated by James Newman Gray.

This book has beautiful pages of nature to color. There are some that are scenes and others that are just leaves or animals or such. There are also pages with inspiring quotes. This entire book is meant to help with reflection and finding peace.

I love the pictures that give me the chance to remember the beautiful creation of God--our world. The pages are double-sided and of good quality paper. Only my extremely wet new sparkly markers did any bleeding through and only where I got too much ink on them.

I always love to color pictures of nature. These pictures call to me and draw me in. Unfortunately I have not had the time to relax and actually finish color all these pictures. Here is one I haven't even started but wanted to let you see the beautiful scene as well as a sample of the quote pages.
In this one I was trying out our new sparkly, wet brush markers. You can see why it bled through in some spots. There was too much moisture with these markers.

I think I need to go and color some more. I definitely need more relaxation. How about you? What do you like to color?
