How to Sew Little Felt Animals -- Crafty Weekends Book Review & Link Party

Today I am going to share with you the book How to Sew Little Felt Animals by Sue Quinn. Now I have a confession to make. I was planning on make several of these adorable animals to write this review, however first Hazel could not make up her mind which she liked most. They are all adorable and thus hard to chose. We finally decided on the female mole since she is different than most animals we have. Then I just didn't get started on it and when I finally sat down to do it I realized I needed joint sets for them which I have never used and do not have on hand. Since I was not going to attempt the crowds at the stores today it was not going to happen today, but I want to share this fun book with you still.

This book has the patterns to make these woodland animals including rabbits, mice, squirrels, bears and moles. It also has patterns for the adorable clothes for the animals and the clothes can mix and match a bit. There are female and male versions of the clothes for each animal as well as a teddy bear for the bear.

Now the female mole is in her winter clothes in the book, but there is also a picture of Mr. Mole's daughter with her bow and summer dress.

The instructions in the book are very complete and the patterns are wonderful. I love the details of the book from the mouse whiskers to the details in the clothing. Look at the details in Mr. Mole's outfit from the back of the book.

We also loved the rabbits. The book has them set in a school setting. How adorable are they?

Needless to say I am going to have to get the joint sets so I can actually make at least one of these adorable animals for Hazel. They are just too cute!! I hope you will check out this fun book!!
