New Sticker Books Perfect for Crafting

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of these books in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

When you were young did you love stickers? I did. Growing up stickers were such a big deal. We were just discovering Lisa Frank. She became even more popular and well known in the 90's. I always wanted a sticker book but also didn't want to waste my stickers by putting them in a book. Sticker books in the 80s were really just notebooks or journals where you kept your stickers forever. Stickers are not just for kids though!! Nor are sticker books. Today we are sharing three new sticker books (two released last week and one being released this week) that are not children's sticker books. Along with my reviews I am going to share some ways to use these stickers in crafts. The first book is A Book Lover's Sticker Book illustrated by Christina Chun.

About the Book:

A collection of 450+ beautifully illustrated stickers that will delight bookworms.

Celebrate the joy of reading with this special collection of 500+ book-themed stickers, each one a tiny treasure and visual ode to the transformative power of books. The stickers within are thoughtfully hand-painted and designed to speak right to a book lover’s heart: There are cozy shelves overflowing with carefully stacked books and potted plants; quaint bookstore facades that beckon readers inside with their artful and abundant displays; nostalgia-inducing accessories like library cards and carts; and much more. Perfect for any bibliophile, these bright and happy stickers will help readers personalize their book logs, e-readers, planners, notes to friends, or anything in need of a little bookish charm.

From Me:

This book is full of pictures of books and things that go with books--lamps, jugs, plants and more. The pages have different themes with some just being random stickers placed on it and others meant to look like bookshelves. There are also stickers of bookstores. Some of the stickers have sayings on them and all are encouraging reading. These stickers are truly made for book lovers! They are colorful and fun and share so many great book displays, sayings and more!

Ideas for Use:

  • My first idea to use these stickers is in a book nook. Using flat pictures at the back or side of a book nook can give some dimension without taking up space. Since the book nooks tend to be very small, this is very helpful. For example, I made this book nook as my dream room and used actual miniature books, but if I wanted more space for the furniture I could have painted on shelves and used some of these stickers to create the back.

The stickers would look fun and like actual books in the background making the space appear a little bit bigger.

  • Another idea is to make cards. How fun for book lovers to make a card for a fellow book lover. Whether it is a thinking of you, thank you or birthday these fun stickers will make any book lover smile. There are even some stickers of animals with books!
  • Of course, stickers can also be used to create scenes of art. Looking at the pages of the sticker book can give you some ideas.
  • As a teacher I recognize the need for kids to read. I know many teachers who would love to give some of these stickers to their students as they master reading, finishing books, etc. This book is a perfect gift for a reading teacher!
  • Finally, the stickers are so cute and the best thing to do with stickers even as adults is to share them! Whether celebrating time to read or a love for reading these book stickers are so fun! They make great decorations for devices, water bottles, etc.!

Our next sticker book was also released last week and is similar to the book lover's one. It is A Plant Lover's Sticker Book illustrated by Desiree Perez.

About the Book:

A collection of 675+ beautifully illustrated stickers for every plant enthusiast.

Immerse yourself in the world of plants with this stunning collection of hand-painted stickers, each one a loving ode to the greenery all around us. Potted houseplants add coziness to a sunny windowsill; prickly cacti adorn a warm desert landscape; ladybugs and tulips hide among an inviting garden oasis; tiny terraria perch on a wooden shelf; and much more.

Every sticker is a small work of art, meant to inspire creativity and infuse your notebooks, postcards, and stationery with color, wonder, and whimsy.

From Me:

This book has stickers of indoor plants, outdoor plants, leaves, flowers, cacti, birds and more. There are pages that look like shelves of plants and a greenhouse. There are even stickers that look like stamps. There are gardening supplies, terrariums, potted plants and not potted plants. There is something for every climate and type of plant. These stickers are fun and colorful!

As someone who has been making miniature paper plants lately, I love this book. The pictures are detailed and colorful. Similar to the book lover's the pages in this book range from a scene to just random stickers. Now I see similar uses for the stickers as the other one. The stickers with sayings would make wonderful sayings for cards while the image pictures could make a wonderful front!

My main reason for wanting these as well is for book nooks. If I had them prior to making my backyard book nook I could have given the back and side gardens more dimensions by putting some of these stickers behind the fake flowers I glued in there. (See picture below) They also could decorate the outside of a book nook about nature! (See picture above)

Many of the potted plants and flowers in vases would look great as fillers on flat shelves as well. I love the variety of the stickers included in this book and can see there being many things to do with them! I know I would have used the stamp type stickers on notes to Hazel. We often liked to draw our own stamps when we delivered each other "mail."

I also love that some of the stickers are just the plants or leaves. There is so much you can do with them in art. I would love to create my own pots with paper, beads, buttons or the like with some of the succulents above. Let's face it a plant or flower always brings a smile and so will these cute stickers!

Our final book is being released on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. It is The Art Lover's Sticker Book by Kelly Lynch.

About the Book:

Experience the fascinating world of art like never before with these stickers of beautiful pieces from throughout history.

Organized by 13 chapters (Frills and Fringe; Heaps of Hats; City Life), the book offers stickers featuring lesser-known works and the greats, such as Van Gogh’s Almond Blossom, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Cassatt’s Mother and Child, Van Eyck’s The Arnolfini Portrait, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, and so many more. Accompanying each image is a caption that details the artist, the title of the piece, the medium, and the date created.

An amazing gift or self-purchase for art buffs and art history nerds, this unique sticker book will change the way you look at—and interact with—these timeless masterpieces.

From Me:

This book is full of masterpieces from various artists in different time periods as well as different cultures. My initial desire for this book is similar to my desire for the Hokusai Prints Sticker Book, for dollhouse artwork! I will be sharing some of the sample pages with use of empty dollhouse frames to show how I intend to use them. For some of them I will make frames from wooden coffee stirrers and the like (see the book nook above with a print of a Monet behind the chair). These stickers will work so much better than the prints because they will take wear and tear better!

Some of the stickers have the perfect dimensions to fit the frames I recently bought for my dollhouses. Others would need to have homemade frames. The images vary from landscapes to people as well as outdoor and indoor. There are modern art pictures as well as Asian artwork. Many of them are by artists you will recognize. Each sticker has information about the artwork on it. Therefore, the dolls will know their artwork facts!

The book is divided into eleven sections: Frills & Fringe, At Home, Creature Companions, Nature's Beauty, Childhood Magic, Heaps of Hats, Bold and Brilliant, City Life, Flora and Fauna, Dressed to Impress, and At One's Leisure. The variety of art is amazing. I love seeing some of my favorite artists work as well as one's I don't know that well. The images will look amazing in my book nooks and dollhouses.

Besides being perfect for dollhouse artwork, I can see these stickers being used by any art lover. With the information about the artwork: title, artist, date and type of artwork, I could see it being helpful for someone studying art appreciation. I remember taking an art appreciation class in college and needing to remember things about certain artists and artwork as well as making a project of our own. These stickers could have been used in the project to show appreciation or feelings about art. I could also see an art teacher enjoying the book to share the works with students in a different way than slides, videos, etc.

I love that there are different types of artwork: oil on canvas, pencil and watercolor on paper, color on woodcut, pastel on paper, porcelain, colorized photography, etc. It includes works from Pierre-Auguste Renoir, John Singer Sargent, Gustav Klimt, Paul Cezanne, Grant Wood, Edgar Degas, Katsushika Hokusai, Piet Mondrian, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Claude Monet, Childe Hassam, Mary Stevenson Cassatt and many more. They are artists from different times and different cultures. Males and females. All with a variety of artwork and beauty.

So what art lover will you get this fun book for? Or perhaps you have plant lovers and book lovers on your list of gifts to get. These books are perfect for the upcoming holidays as small gifts or even stocking stuffers!
