Picture Books About Trying to Communicate with Someone Who Speaks a Different Language

Have you ever tried to communicate with someone who doesn't speak the same language as you? It can be very difficult, however if you both try you can usually get the general thoughts across. Today we are sharing two new picture books about communicating with someone who only speaks a different language, and they are very different situations. We will start with
Love in Every Language
by Anoosha Syed. It is recommended for ages 3 to 7.

A Hug for Punch -- Review of a Sweet Picture Book

Did you follow the story of Punch the Japanese macaque last summer? Everyone fell in love with the sweet baby snow monkey who needed a stuffie to survive. Today we get to share a sweet picture book that immortalizes the story. The book is A Hug for Punch by Caroline L. Perry and illustrated by Anoosha Syed. It is recommended for ages 3 to 7.

Board Book Round-Up

Today I am sharing some six board books for through preschool. These books range in what they cover from fun stories to educational to Halloween. Plus one of our favorite bedtime stories from when Hazel was young. The first book is for babies. It is Look! Babies Head to Toe by Robie H. Harris and illustrated by Anoosha Syed.
