From Me:

This is another fun Alycat book. It is about friendship, communication, and emotions. Think about a girls' sleepover--the stories, the fun and the giggles. Imagine it in a cat world. That is where this book is taking us. Alycat is hosting a sleepover and her besties are coming. One calls to let Alycat know something, but the connection is staticky. This leads to some miscommunication and confusion.

This book really shares the nitty gritty of hosting a party. Alycat bakes a cake and plans special activities. She is excited to have her friends over. Her friends also seem excited to be coming to the party. They have different activities including ghost stories in a tent and a campfire. There is sharing and there is caring. Each girl seems to care about their friends. It is such a sweet and positive book. At the end of the book is a list of sleepover essentials to pack. The author also shares a note about the scary stories and how her dog finally made it into one of the books in the scary stories. I love how imaginative Alysson is with the cat world and what would be there and what would not. This is a book to check out as well as the entire series.
