A Cross to Kill -- a Mommy Time Review

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

My favorite genre for books tends to be suspense and mystery, but I don't like too much violence. It is a hard balance to find however I did in this fun book. It has suspense, romance and religion. The characters are well developed and the plot is unique. It is A Cross to Kill by Andrew Huff.

This book involves an ex-CIA agent turned small church pastor who also does some special cases for the CIA like extracting Americans who are "kidnapped" by terrorists. But the last one sticks with him and she tracks him down. There is definitely a relationship growing between them. Thus the love.

I love the unique plot and how well the characters are developed. The book is a page turner that you won't want to put down. I also love the look at Christianity and our society as well as the violence and killing that happens for safety and security of our country and our lives. This book delves into so much more as you peel back the layers and read the conversations and thoughts of these characters. It is eye-opening and helped me grow as a Christian. I highly recommend this book. I really enjoyed it!
