Pop Manga Myths & Monsters Coloring Book -- A Relaxing Friday Review

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this book in order to provide an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Have you seen The Odyssey yet? We all loved it when we saw it opening weekend. Hazel and I have been watching the Percy Jackson television series this summer too. Needless to say, we are into mythology. Plus, it is the perfect time to talk monsters for Summerween. After all, Halloween is three months away! Today we are sharing a fun adult coloring book with a myth and monster theme! It is Pop Manga Myths and Monsters Coloring Book by Camilla d'Errico.

About the Book:

Step into a world where legends leap off the page with this fantastical adult coloring book from acclaimed artist Camilla d’Errico.

Brought to life in Camilla’s signature Pop Surrealism, manga-inspired style, this 80-page adventure brims with black-and-white line art featuring wickedly whimsical beasts from her imagination alongside iconic figures of myth and folklore. From snarling dragons to roaring Minotaurs, every page is begging for your boldest splash of color.

Printed on thick, non-bleed paper, Pop Manga Myths and Monsters Coloring Book invites you to immerse yourself in full-page illustrations, dazzling patterned backgrounds, and endless opportunities for magical detail. Unleash your creativity, add your own kaleidoscope of hues, and watch as these timeless legends come alive beneath your hands.

From Me:

These coloring pages are creative and full of illustrations of monsters, mythical creatures and some humanish fighters. They are creations of Camilla's imagination. Some will remind you of creatures you read about in myths and others will be just interesting creatures to color and explore. Some are scary and others are cute and whimsical.

Most of the illustrations have a background image and then a main creature or creatures to color. I began coloring the cute flying fawn. The pages are thick and the markers did not bleed through.

Whether you just love pop manga, myths or monsters or are looking for a new imaginative and different coloring book, this book is for you. It has creative illustrations you won't find elsewhere and whether you know the myths or backstories or not, you can find creative stories to go with them. Happy coloring!
