Favorite Colors--Mine is Pink! -- Activity Book Review & Fun Facts

Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

What is your favorite color? It is a question we often ask children and occasionally adults. My favorite color is pink, in case you couldn't guess. It always has been pink. Growing up my favorite flavors of ice cream were strawberry and bubble gum. I still love strawberry ice cream and strawberry cake. I believe Hazel's obsession with flamingos when she was little was because they are pink. It is her favorite color as well. Today I get to share one of the books in the My Favorite Color Activity Book Series. And, yes, I get to share My Favorite Color Is Pink illustrated by Mei Støyva.

From the Publisher:

It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that the best of all colors is pink. That’s right, pink is the most beautiful and delightful. Everyone agrees. And so we made this activity book, celebrating the greatest color of all.

Packed with fun activities like mazes, one-color coloring, spot-the-difference, creative writing prompts, drawing lessons, search & finds, paper toy crafts, and more! With bonus stickers included, celebrate your favorite color like you’ve never done before.

And unlike other books, this one was specially made with EVEN MORE pink inks to create more variations of the color than you’ve ever seen in print!

Oh, and we also created seven other activity books celebrating those other—clearly subpar—colors that people seem to also like for some silly reason: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE, and BLACK. The My Favorite Color Activity Book series has a color for everyone!

From Me:

As a girl who loves pink, this activity book is perfect! It is written for kids ages 6 to 10 and is full of places to share thoughts about pink as well as puzzles and pictures involving the color pink. I love that it has activities as well as places to think about the color and why you love it. It also has recipes and facts about pink which made me think about adding some fun facts to this post. See below. I used a few from the book as well as some I found on-line.

This book is exactly what I would have loved as a young girl. I loved activity books like this and loved being able to do crafts and more. Plus I loved pink and still do! So what is your favorite color? Be sure to check out the book about that color!
