Christian products

Disclosure: I was sent these products in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Wow, I cannot believe it is already Thursday!! This week is flying by. We have spent it getting ready for school and having Hazel's first (and now second) day of school. Guess what? She LOVES her new school!! I am so relieved and happy for her. All week I have been thinking about writing this post but my attention has been drawn in too many directions to write these great products the proper review, so I am going to do it now. I will start with these great Halloween Tract from Let the Children Come

When it is put together it is a pumpkin that asks "Is there anything better than candy?" I think it goes perfectly with my pumpkin themed post a couple of weeks ago. Now most kids would answer no, but when you unfold the pumpkin you find the answer.
Each piece tells a bit about how God's love is better than anything. Now I wish the pieces could be unfolded in order, so number 1 would be the first one to come off. However since number 1 has part of the stem it doesn't work that way. This is my only complaint. I showed them to the other Sunday School teachers at my church and they were wondering if the mention of sin on number 3 would be too much for some of the kids. My thoughts are the kids need to learn about sin and why Jesus had to die for our sins. This is perfect for getting that message across and for reminding children about God during a season that can really focus on evil and the devil.

The Halloween Tract comes in double-sided sheets in packages of 20. The instructions are on each sheet. They punch out easily and are easy to fold. They are perfect for kids to make on their own or to be given. You could put a few treats inside them as well.

Our next item is for younger kids. It is a board book. Now I have a good friend who LOVES Precious Moments. Do you or does someone you know? If so this is the perfect gift for his or her child. It is the Precious Moments Little Book of Bible Stories by Jean Fischer. This book has very simplified forms of some of the popular Bible stories. Each story has a double page spread with the adorable Precious Moments illustrations to go with it.

There is also always a scripture with the illustration. The words are easy for a toddler or preschooler to understand. The pictures are colorful and engaging.
It has Creation, Noah, Abraham, Moses (as a baby), David and Goliath, Jonah, Jesus' Birth, the Lost Sheep, Jesus Calms the Sea, Jesus and the Children, Jesus Feeds 5,000, Easter, and the Ascension Story. Under each story title is where in the Bible the story can be found as well. It gives great information in a manner that young children can comprehend and begin to love God's word.

I hope you will take time to check out these great products!!
