Today I get the pleasure of sharing with you a beautiful board book that is perfect for getting little ones to bed. It is called Bedtime Snuggles by Patricia Reeder Eubank.

The book goes through the tale of various young animals going home to snuggle with mom for sleep. The tales rhyme and the pictures are beautiful. I also love how the language for that animal is taught--the fox lives in a den and the rabbit in a warren. The text is simple and cozy and all the animals are going to sleep after a fun day. Then there is Hazel's favorite part, the last page.

On the last page is the mother and child, but in the room are the animals the book has in it. The sheep, mare, fox, owl, chicken, etc. We had so much fun just looking for them all. I asked Hazel if we could give the book to a younger friend and she was really upset because she loves this book and its pictures. It looks like it will stay on our bookshelf even though I have gotten rid of most of our board books. Oh, well at least it is a book I really enjoy as well.

This is the perfect book for any young child and would make a great baby gift as well!! We highly recommend it!! Enjoy!!
